Creating Advertisers
Creating Advertisers
In AdButler, an Advertiser represents a unique source or client for ad content—it could be a brand, company, or 3rd party. Each advertiser helps organize campaigns and track performance in one place.
When to Create an Advertiser
Create a new advertiser whenever you have:
- A distinct brand or client whose ads you want to run.
- A different ad type (e.g. one advertiser for image ads, another for video) — this keeps reporting and setup easier to manage.
Steps to Create an Advertiser
- Click Advertisers in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click + Create Advertiser (or Add Advertiser) at the top-right.
- Enter the Advertiser Name (e.g. BrandX).
- (Optional) Add contact details or internal notes for your reference.
- Click Save to create the advertiser.
Tip: Use clear, consistent naming (e.g. ClientName – ProductLine) to easily identify advertisers in reports and dashboards.

(Optional) Enabling Advertiser Dashboard Access
If you’d like the advertiser to log in and view stats.
- Go to Advertisers, then click on the advertiser’s name.
- Select Edit Advertiser Properties (usually in the right-side panel).
- Check Enable Dashboard Access.
- Enter their email and set a password (optional).
- Assign permissions (e.g., view stats, schedule ads).
- Click Save.
The advertiser will receive credentials and a login link.
Please note this dashboard acccess is limited to statistics only, if you wish for brands to book campaigns via self-service, see this documentation.
Managing Your Advertisers

- Edit advertiser details any time.
