Common Newsletter Email Unique IDs

When serving email ads, you need to add the correct Email User ID (EUID) macro to your email ad zone tag. This macro is provided by your newsletter service or email platform. Below are the macros for some of the most popular email platforms.

Make sure that your EUID macro actually generates a unique ID for each recipient. Ads will not rotate properly, impressions and clicks will not be tracked accurately, and errors in redirecting users may occur if the EUID macro you used is incorrect or does not generate a unique ID for each recipient.

As of April 2024, some customers have reported issues with ad serving in Pardot. The issues are related to how Pardot modifies links in our zone tags. We are currently working on a permanent solution. In the meantime, we recommend wrapping email zone tags in <blockquote></blockquote> tags to prevent Pardot from modifying our code.
