As publishers, we recognized the need for a tailored ad-serving solution and took it upon ourselves to build our own platform. Initially known as Ad Rotator, our focus was on display ads, and we quickly distinguished ourselves with our innovative pricing model, offering the product for free while generating revenue through ads placed on publisher sites.

Diversification and Expansion (2007-2014):

As the digital landscape evolved, so did AdButler. We recognized the potential of email and video advertising and seized the opportunity to diversify our offerings. Inbound leads for email advertising surged, particularly after Google sunsetted its product. Users now needed a reliable platform, a gap we were more than happy to fill.

Video streaming emerged as a promising frontier, and we wasted no time establishing ourselves as a leader in video ads. Recognizing the need for personalized support, we made it our mission to simplify the process for publishers, cementing our reputation as a trusted partner.

Investment in Infrastructure and Innovation (2015-2021):

In 2016, a pivotal moment occurred when we transitioned from third-party servers running on AWS to our own infrastructure. Thus, the AdButler global cloud was built. Our proprietary CDN and serving cloud allowed us to maintain 100% uptime with lightning-fast speeds. This move was driven by our commitment to reliability and minimizing downtime for our publishers. Today, with 73 servers spread across the globe, we ensure seamless ad-serving experiences for our clients worldwide.

As mobile usage surged with the rise of Android and iOS, we anticipated the growing significance of mobile advertising. This foresight led us to develop Android and iOS SDKs, empowering publishers to capitalize on this burgeoning market.

The introduction of a mediation engine revolutionized programmatic selling, and the launch of our self-service marketplace gave publishers greater control over their inventory.

Meanwhile, our customer success team scaled up to meet the evolving needs of our growing clientele.

Achieving SOC2 Type 2 certification and joining the IAB Tech Lab underscores our commitment to industry best practices and standards. Our partnership with The Media Trust ensures the compliance and integrity of our ads, safeguarding both publishers and users.

From native ads to promoted products, we've expanded our offerings to cater to diverse advertising needs. Marketing efforts, initiated in 2017, have amplified our presence, while our robust engineering enables us to scale rapidly.
